Hull and topside
Exterior washing uses spot-free deionized water while removing salt, waterline buildup, road film, and storage dirt from reachable surfaces.
Hull, topside, cockpit, and cabin. Trailer and dry-storage jobs are the default; in-water work needs the marina's okay first.

Marine surface care
Marine vinyl, nonskid, gelcoat, painted hulls, metal, and clear plastics cannot all be treated with the same chemical or pad.
Exterior washing uses spot-free deionized water while removing salt, waterline buildup, road film, and storage dirt from reachable surfaces.
Marine-safe cleaning for vinyl, compartments, flooring, glass, and high-touch areas.
A test section determines whether chalky oxidation can be safely compounded and refined.

Marina routes
Marina rules determine whether work happens in the slip, in dry storage, or after the boat is moved to a legal service area. Confirm outside-vendor permission before requesting a date.
North County
Boats at Oceanside Harbor sit close to open Pacific salt, wind, bird droppings, and full afternoon sun. Wash and wax, cockpit care, and accessible topside work can be completed at an approved slip or service area. Hull correction depends on haul-out or dry-storage access.
Send the vessel length, slip or storage location, marina approval, and daylight photos of the hull, waterline, and topside.
Oceanside service areaSan Diego route
Mission Bay boats collect salt film, water spotting, sunscreen residue, and grime from regular use. Appointments are grouped by route and require approval from the marina, yacht club, storage yard, or launch facility before equipment is set up.
Trailer and dry-storage jobs provide the clearest hull access. For in-water work, send the marina, dock or slip details, vessel length, and the areas the facility permits us to service.

How it runs
Send boat length, storage type, hull material, and photos of the requested areas.
We confirm trailer, yard, driveway, marina permission, water, and power.
Oxidation work begins with a small section and a realistic finish target.
Hull, topside, and interior are completed in an order that avoids recontamination.
Planning your service
A boat on a trailer exposes different surfaces from a boat in a slip. Start with the location and the areas you want reached.
_01
Send a wide photo of the trailer, yard, or slip, plus the vessel length. Include space around the hull and any access restrictions. Marina permission is confirmed before a service date.
_02
Photograph gelcoat, painted sections, vinyl, clear plastics, and nonskid. Point out chalking, cracks, worn material, and old repairs so the quote separates cleaning from restoration.
_03
Specify hull, topside, cockpit, cabin, and compartments. Empty the agreed storage areas before the visit. Below-waterline access and trailer work need separate discussion.
_04
Chalky gelcoat gets a test section before full oxidation work is approved. Some weathered surfaces need repair or refinishing. Review the accessible finish and compatible upkeep at handoff.
After the service
Gelcoat restoration aims to improve the accessible hull finish. Cockpit cleaning addresses use and storage buildup. Nonskid surfaces stay free of slick dressing. Agree on those areas separately so a request for gloss does not become the wrong treatment for the deck.
If the boat moves from a trailer to a slip, tell us before the next booking. The same per-foot package may not have the same accessible areas in the water. Review hull access, facility approval, and the surfaces included each time the setup changes.
Plan the service locationCommon questions
Only where the marina permits outside vendors and the requested work. Ask the facility before booking.
Trailer rinsing can be added when access and runoff allow; corrosion treatment is quoted separately.
No. Thin, cracked, or heavily weathered gelcoat may need repair or refinishing beyond detailing.
Some topside and interior work can be done in water. Hull access and facility rules determine the scope.
Marina access, oxidation, and waterline work change the quote.
