Rotes & Roses is based in Escondido, so this is the city we know best. Inland sun, dry dust, and the I-15 and SR-78 commute land on the same cars every week here. We come to the house, the carport, or the office lot, set up beside the car, and work through it while you get on with the day.
Recommended starting points
A shaded garage-kept car and an outdoor commuter should not receive the same recommendation. We look at the current finish, parking conditions, and the result you want before confirming the price.

I have 2 small kids so my car gets pretty dirty with drinks, food crumbs, and dirt from soccer cleats but they leave it spotless every time.

Escondido is its own city in inland North County, and it covers four ZIP codes. The USGS point for the city sits at about 648 feet. NOAA's 1991 to 2020 normals for the Escondido #2 station put the August average high at 89.0°F and the January average low at 44.8°F, which explains a lot about the paint we see here. Daley Ranch, a City conservation area of about 3,058 acres, is open dawn to dusk with multi-use trails, and Dixon Lake sits beside it on the northeast side. Kit Carson Park, Grand Avenue, and the California Center for the Arts round out the places most people name.

An August average high of 89.0°F at the city's NOAA station means panels in afternoon sun get hot enough that water dries before it can be wiped. That is how mineral spots bond to paint and glass, and why we watch it. Exterior work in summer goes early in the day or into shade, and the final rinse uses spot-free deionized water so the rinse itself doesn't add spots. If your only parking is in full sun, say so, and we'll pick the time to suit it.
Daley Ranch keeps dogs on a leash of six feet or less, but hair and trail dust still ride home in the cargo area, and the paved Ranch House Road gets hot by afternoon. The ranch also has trailer parking for riders at the Valley Center Road entrance. Tow vehicles come back with hay and dirt on the floor. Photograph the liner, the seat backs, and the footwells before you shake anything out, so we see the real job before quoting.
CAL FIRE maps High and Very High fire hazard zones in the hills around Escondido. When smoke is in the air, fine ash settles on paint and glass and works into cowl vents and door jambs. Wiping it off dry drags grit across the clear coat. Leave it for a proper wash, tell us the car has been sitting under ash, and we'll plan a gentle pre-rinse before anything touches the paint. Glass and wiper blades get the same care.
Your local routine
What the car did last weekend decides where the interior time goes. Tell us which of these sounds like yours.
Daley Ranch keeps dogs on short leashes, but the hair and trail dust still ride home in the cargo area. Show us the liner and the seat backs.
Daley Ranch has equestrian trailer parking at the Valley Center Road entrance. If your tow vehicle carries hay or dirt inside, send a photo of the floor.
Dogs stay back from the Dixon Lake shoreline, so lake cars come home with fishing gear and damp items instead of hair. Let wet things dry outside first.

Why Rotes & Roses in Escondido
Escondido is home base, so inland sun and dry air are already part of how the work is planned. The work is chosen to hold up here, not to photograph well for an afternoon.
_01
Inland heat is hard on fluids. Every car visit adds a courtesy visual multi-point inspection and a fluid-level check.
_02
Escondido appointments get earlier windows and the least travel time on the schedule.
_03
We work around surface temperature and available shade, because heat changes what can be polished or coated safely.
_04
Products are chosen to survive sun and dust until the next visit, not to look right for one evening.
We come to your driveway, office, or garage.
Mobile by design
Appointments are available across Escondido, including downtown, the I-15 and Highway 78 corridors, and surrounding residential and business areas. We need a safe place with room to work around the vehicle. If the car is parked on the street, the City's street-sweep map shows your route's weekday and whether parking is allowed on one side, both, or neither. Escondido limits street parking to 72 hours in one spot and keeps commercial vehicles of 10,000 pounds GVWR or more off residential streets, so move a parked-out car or heavy work truck into the driveway before we arrive. Escondido code bars paid curbside washing, meaning parking a car on a roadway mainly to have it washed or polished for a charge, so we work in your driveway, not the street.

Wash water stays contained: our water containment system keeps runoff away from storm drains, and high-GSM towels plus a wet vac recover what's left.
Every car detail includes a courtesy visual, non-diagnostic multi-point inspection. Compatible, accessible fluids are topped off as needed. It does not replace mechanical service.

Full details lead here, because inland dust hits the cabin and the paint in the same week. Express Inside & Out starts at $234.99 for a sedan or coupe and covers a hand wash, wheels, spray protection, a full vacuum, and trim cleaned and treated. Executive Inside & Out, from $444.99, adds extraction and steam inside plus clay, iron removal, and a ceramic sealant outside.
Interior-only visits come next. Dust settles in vents and seat tracks out of sight, and summer heat dries leather and vinyl. Express Interior at $174.99 is the reset, with vents and seat rails done by hand. Executive Interior at $284.99 brings extraction and steam for stains, a light smell, or light pet hair; heavy pet hair on an Executive detail is $55.
Paint correction is third on the local list, and it is a condition call, not a default. Sun-dulled clear coat and etched water spots are where it usually starts. Paint correction begins at $424.99, and Julian will say plainly if a good exterior detail is enough instead. One-Step correction starts at $424.99, and the paint finishes with a ceramic sealant. Clear daylight photos of the hood and roof, taken at an angle, show the swirls and etching better than a straight-on shot.
People also ask about ceramic coating, from $1,249. We talk it through when you raise it, after seeing how the car is parked and washed. A garage-kept car and a car that lives at the curb in full sun don't get the same advice.
Smaller jobs fit into any visit: headlight restoration from $99.99 a pair, a ceramic glass coating at $159.99, or Engine Bay Detail, from $99.99. Tint starts at $199 on the tint page, and RV and motorcycle work can share the trip when they're parked at the same address.
Most Escondido visits happen in a driveway, a garage with the door up, or a carport at an apartment or condo. We need a firm, level spot with room to open every door, and permission when the property isn't yours. The van brings deionized water and a generator, so no hose or outlet is needed. Wash water stays contained: our water containment system keeps runoff away from storm drains, and high-GSM towels plus a wet vac recover what's left.
Julian owns the business and details every vehicle himself. You message him, he reads the photos, he confirms the price, and he's the one who shows up. If anything looks different from the photos on the day, you hear it from him before the work goes further. Prices for every vehicle size are on the services page.
Retail and office lots along Valley Parkway or near Palomar Medical Center can work with the property manager's OK. Ask first, then send their reply and a photo of the space. In a carport, check that the car can sit with clearance on both sides.
Hidden Meadows and the Lake Dixon side have longer drives and hillside lots. Send a photo from the street so Julian can choose the flattest spot. For regular care between visits, a maintenance plan can run weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
All of Escondido is on the schedule, plus the unincorporated areas around it:
We bring mobile auto detailing to Escondido, CA, from Old Escondido to Hidden Meadows.
Older streets downtown often mean single driveways and curb parking, so send a photo if the car usually sits at the curb. Newer neighborhoods tend to have garages and HOA rules instead. Close by, we also serve San Marcos, Valley Center, Rancho Bernardo, Del Dios, and Ramona.

Headlights from $99.99 a pair, Engine Bay Detail from $99.99, odor from $134.99. Express Signature, $383.98: Express Inside & Out, engine bay, and ceramic glass coating (warranty: one year on the windshield; two years on non-wiped glass). See add-ons
Only where the property allows mobile work, and we don't assume a park or trailhead lot does. Those lots are for visitors, and open doors, equipment, and a vehicle parked for hours don't fit them. Book at your home, your workplace with the manager's approval, or another spot you have permission to use, and we'll come there instead. If you've just come back from the trail, that's the best time to send photos of the cargo floor.
Fresh mineral spots often come off during a careful exterior detail with spot-free water and the right products. Spots that have sat in the sun long enough can etch into the clear coat, and those need polishing, not another wash. Send close photos of the hood and the glass in daylight. Julian will tell you whether Express Exterior, Executive Exterior, or paint correction is the honest fit before you pay anything.
Yes, when the property allows it and there's room. Carports are common here, and they help with shade, but posts and neighboring cars can block doors. Check your lease or HOA rules on mobile service first. Then send a photo showing the space and what's on each side. If the carport is too tight, a guest space or another approved spot nearby may be better, and we'll suggest it.
We schedule around it. Exterior work in July and August goes in the morning or in shade, because a hot panel dries products and water too fast and can leave marks. Interiors are easier in the heat, but leather and dash vinyl get cleaned and then treated so they don't dry out and crack. If the only spot is in full sun all day, tell us when you book and we'll choose the slot.
Express handles a car that's used but kept up: hand wash, wheels, spray protection outside, and a thorough vacuum with trim care inside. Executive is the deeper level. Inside it adds hot-water extraction and steam; outside it adds clay, iron removal, and a ceramic sealant. Most Escondido cars with summer dust in the vents and a few seat stains end up in Executive. Photos let Julian tell you which one fits.
Yes. Executive packages include light pet hair, and heavy pet hair on an Executive detail is $55. Hair from a shedding dog weaves into cargo carpet and seat fabric, and it takes rubber tools and time, not just suction. Take out crates and covers before the visit. A photo of the worst spot, usually the cargo floor, keeps the quote accurate and the appointment the right length.
Yes. Both are unincorporated areas outside the city limits, and we take requests in each. Hidden Meadows sits in the hills north of the city off I-15, with longer drives and hillside lots, and Harmony Grove has newer homes to the west toward Elfin Forest. Send the street address and a photo of the parking spot. If there's a gate or an HOA, include the access details and any rules on mobile service.
Yes, carefully. Ash and dust are abrasive, so the first step is a gentle pre-rinse rather than a wipe, then a hand wash with pH-balanced soap. Ash also collects in cowl vents, door jambs, and the air intake at the base of the windshield, so we pay attention to those. If the car sat under heavy ash, mention it when booking. Julian may suggest an Executive Exterior so the paint is decontaminated and sealed afterward.
Often, yes. Office and medical lots near Palomar Medical Center and along the parkways usually have rules, so ask the property manager whether mobile detailing is allowed and which spaces we can use. Send their answer and a photo of the space when you book. You hand over the keys at the start, go back to work, and we come find you for the walkthrough when the car is ready.
