Cleaning a vehicle seat with an extraction tool.

Pet hair removal with your detail

The dog is out. The hair stayed.

Pet hair catches in seat fabric, follows the dog into the cargo area, and works below the floor mats. Rotes & Roses removes pet hair as an add-on to an interior or Inside & Out detail at your home or approved workplace in North County San Diego. The amount of hair and the fabric determine the work.

01 / The starting point

Show us the seat your dog actually uses.

A clean dashboard says little about a rear bench full of short hairs. Send close photos of the seat surface, seams, carpet, and cargo floor, plus a wider photo of the cabin. Tell Julian if the hair is loose on top or woven into the material. That helps choose the hair level and confirm the interior package before reserving time.

02 / Scope and price

Hair pricing follows your detail tier.

On an Express interior or Inside & Out detail, pet hair adds $40 for light, $65 for medium, or $90 for heavy. On Executive interior or Inside & Out, light hair is included; medium adds $25 and heavy adds $55. These amounts are added to the selected detail, not a standalone whole-car price. The actual condition is checked before work starts.

Hair removal is not an odor or allergy guarantee.

Removing visible and accessible hair does not guarantee removal of every allergen, odor, or hair inside inaccessible trim. We do not promise an allergy-safe cabin. If there is animal waste, a persistent smell, or unsafe contamination, describe it before booking so the required assessment and service can be confirmed separately.

03 / What changes the work

Hair does not stay in one place.

Woven seat fabric

Short hairs can lodge in the weave and seat seams. A quick pass over the top may leave the embedded layer behind. Tell us which seats carry pets and whether covers have been used; hair can collect beneath the covers too.

Cargo carpet and seatbacks

Dogs riding in an SUV can leave hair along the folded seatbacks, trim edges, and cargo lip. Remove crates, liners, and loose gear where practical so we can see the affected surfaces and agree on access.

Leather seats, carpet underneath

A leather seating surface does not mean the whole cabin will be easy. Hair can collect in stitched seams, seat tracks, floor carpet, and the gap beside the center console. Include those areas in the photos.

Hair with another problem

An odor, urine, vomit, or other animal waste needs to be disclosed separately. Pet hair pricing covers hair removal, not every kind of pet contamination. We assess the appropriate service before confirming the visit.

04 / At the appointment

The detail first. Then the hair level.

Choose the interior scope

Pick an interior detail, or Inside & Out if you want the exterior done during the same appointment.

Select the hair level

Choose light, medium, or heavy in the pet hair add-on options. Photos help confirm the selection against the actual cabin.

Confirm the work

Julian checks amount, fabric, access, and affected areas before starting. Any change in scope or price is agreed first.

Review the cabin

We check accessible areas together and explain any remaining limitations from worn fabric, unreachable spaces, or contamination outside the agreed work.

05 / Make room

Give us access to the hairy areas.

  • Remove pet beds, crates, toys, personal items, and loose blankets before the appointment. Tell us about fixed barriers or fitted covers.
  • Photograph the carpet and seating in daylight. A wide shot plus close-ups helps more than a description of the dog’s size.
  • Tell us if you need the cargo area, third row, folded seatbacks, or areas around child seats included in the assessment.
  • Arrange a safe approved work area. Keep pets away from the vehicle while equipment is running and the doors are open.

Before you book

Questions worth asking.

Can I book pet hair removal by itself?

Online pet hair options are add-ons to an interior or Inside & Out detail. Choose the detail first, then the hair level. Contact Julian if you need help deciding the scope.

Is light pet hair included?

In Executive interior and Executive Inside & Out, yes. Express details charge $40 for light, $65 for medium, or $90 for heavy hair. Executive medium is $25 extra and heavy is $55 extra.

How do I choose light, medium, or heavy?

Look at how much of the cabin is affected and whether hair is embedded. Send photos of seats, carpet, and cargo surfaces; the level and quote are confirmed from the actual vehicle.

Does removing hair remove the pet smell?

Not necessarily. Odor can have a different source, including spills or affected padding. Describe it separately so we can assess whether Odor Treatment or other work is appropriate.

Can every last hair be removed?

We work through the accessible agreed areas. Fabric condition, embedded hair, trim access, and severity affect the result. We explain limitations before promising a scope.

Can you work at my apartment?

If management permits mobile detailing and there is a safe work area. Send parking rules and access details. Water and power hookups are helpful but not required.
